To me, no title is really "prestigious". If you have the time, you can get whatever title you want. The only thing that makes one title "better" than the next, is the amount of time spent on it.
And on that note: *happily flaunts his Canthan Protector title* ^_^

R4 Champ from Spiritway,
R6 Glad from Augury abuse,
R9 Hero from IWAY, Rit Spike, Blood Spike etc.
PvE or PvP, it's grind. I feel sorry for the people who earned their titles in a respectable way - there's no title for that.

This is very true. QFT.
But I think for PvE; Legendary Guardian and Legendary Vanquisher are the only ones that impress me stand alone, but God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals (6) is impressive as well.

I think at some point, contrary to what some people say, PVP also becomes time>skill. I think most titles are time>skill after a certain point.
I value gladiator the most.

Vanquisher and Treasure Hunter tracks - opening 10k chests no matter how you managed it - my char would give you a bow if I saw it. But as many other posters have said, don't do it to try to impress others - do it for yourself, cause a bow is all you'll get for your efforts to show off.

Ha! I didn't even know those tomes counted towards skillhunter. No one will ever recognize my long hunts in the wilds.
Same thing for Legendary survivor, wich i earned wile just playing. Farming is not playing to me.

In my opinion, any title that takes a long time to get is prestigious to me. Saviour of kurzicks/luxons = probably a good few months of nonstop farming. So it takes a lot of dedication to max it out. Drunkard does take some time, but can be gotten as quickly as sweet tooth pretty much.
Vanquishing, master of the north is a decent one. Hm dungeons can be a pain to some with hero/hench.
Even some pvp ones are nice, except for the ha one. Because everyone did iway or something and now anyone below r3 can't join a group to get any fame.

Definitely 'prestigious' is what matters to you personally, not what impresses people. People are never impressed. I remember a guildie got Tyrian GMC a couple of days after titles were introduced (she'd always explored so she didn't have much to go) and she got SO many whispers about how she was a haxxor, etc. It's whatever matters to you.
I'm most proud of my carto and skill hunter, which I did 'properly'. Likewise when I get my vanq and guardian I will know I haven't ursaned a second of it. Counts for me, not for anyone else.
Personally I love seeing the maxed out KOABD ones on people.

We wish. 166 hours plus compared to clicking a lot. Except that... we're still clicking a lot, just with three minute intervals.

Legendary Master of the North is a pain to get-I don't see many others that have it running around.
Beyond that, any other HM title. The HM missions require a bit skill and vanquishing requires skill and patience.
